CHAPTER 13 – Isaac GEE Longdendale

Isaac GEE- Longedendale, Cheshire 

  1. Joseph GEE (1) birth dates and death dates unknown, married Ann Unknown.  They had one known Child.  Isaac GEE (see # 2 following). 

2.  Isaac GEE (2) (Joseph GEE-1) was born in February 1760 in Longdendale, Cheshire, England and he died on the 27th February 1827 in Hattersley, Mottram in Longdendale, Cheshire, England.  He married Elizabeth Unknown circa 1790.  Elizabeth died on the 2nd July 1801.  Isaac was an Innkeeper.  In 1822, Isaac GEE shop keeper of Marple Bridge was fined 5/=+5/4 in costs for weights (which meant that his scales were registering incorrect weights).

  1. Betty GEE born circa 1800 and died on the 29th April 1853. 
  2. Susannah GEE born unknown and died on the 14th April 1869. 
  3. Emy GEE  
  4. Henry GEE born in 1793 and died on the 2nd June 1837. 
  5. Thomas GEE born circa 1795 and died on the 29th October 1827 in East India. 
  6. Daniel GEE 
  7. Joseph GEE 
  8. Sarah GEE born on the 1st June 1801, baptised on the 2nd July 1801 at the Millbrow Independent Chapel and died on the 2nd October 1801. 
  9. Ann GEE was born on the 19 May 1811.  (See # 3 following). 
  10. Jonathan GEE born ? and died on the 23rd October 1791.

 ~WILL OF ISAAC GEE – 19 June 1824~ 

WILL OF ISAAC GEE – OF HATTERSLEY, MOTTRAM IN LONGENDALE :

~PROVED AT LICHFIELD:  15 June 1827~ 

This is the last will and testament of me Isaac GEE of Hattersley in the parish of Mottram-in-Longdendale in the County of Chester Innkeeper   IN THE FIRST PLACE I will order and direct all my just debts funeral Expenses and the charges of the probate of this my will to be paid by my Daughters out of the business funds and Effects hereinafter given to them and as to for and concerning my Leasehold House Farm and premises at Marple Bridge in the parish of Glossop in the County of Derby  I GIVE AND bequeath the sole and exclusive use possession and occupation thereof unto my Daughters Betty, Susannah and Emy and the Household Furniture (save and except the pieces of Furniture hereinafter specifically bequeathed)  IMPLEMENTS OF Trade and Husbandry goods and Effects thereon so long as they shall remain single and unmarried they taking especial care of the said House and premises Household furniture implements of Trade and Husbandry goods and Effects and committing or suffering no wilful waste or destruction therein AND I ALSO GIVE and bequeath unto my said Daughters’ Betty, Susannah and Emy all that my Trade or Business now carried on the said premises at Marple Bridge aforesaid and for the better enabling them successfully to conduct and carry of the said business  I DO GIVE  and bequeath unto them my said Daughters all my Stock and Book and other profits and advantages appertaining thereto so long as they shall remain single and unmarried as aforesaid they my said Daughters keeping up the said Stock and not suffering the same to diminish or decrease to the intent that they may render and give up the said Stock in the same or as good a condition as that in which they received it to my said Executors  AT THE TIME and in  the manner hereinafter mentioned AND MY WILL and mind is and I do order and direct my said Daughters jointly to conduct and carry on the said Trade or Business  the end and intent that they may comfortably maintain and support themselves on the said premises and provide an habitation and Asylum for themselves and for my Grandchildren the Sons and Daughters of Richard MIDDLETON late of Marple Bridge aforesaid deceased to whose care kindness and protection I commit and commend them my said Grandchildren  AND I DO will order and direct my said Daughters out of the profits of the said House Farm premises and Business and the rents and profits hereinafter for that purpose given to them to maintain and support and in a suitable and proper manner to educate and instruct my said Grandchildren until the youngest of them my said Grandchildren shall attain the age of fourteen years  AND I DO will order and direct my said Daughters Betty, Susannah, and Emy jointly to conduct and carry on the said Trade or Business as aforesaid conformably to this my will and in all respects in Execution thereof until they or any of them shall happen to marry and then that the said Trade or Business be conducted and carried on as a foretime by such of them as shall remain single and unmarried  AND THAT ALL such of them as shall remain to marry as aforesaid shall forthwith quit and leave the said House and premises and their right of habitation and residence therein and also all their right and Interest in the said Trade or Business shall thereon immediately cease and determine  AND SO LONG as my said Daughters or any one of them shall remain single and unmarried as aforesaid they or she so remaining single and unmarried shall peaceably and quietly Have hold use occupy possess and enjoy the said House Farm premises and Trade or Business upon the Terms to the Ends and intents and for the purposes aforesaid  AND I DO order and direct my said Executors immediately after my decease to make or cause to be made an Inventory or valuation of my said Household Furniture Stock in Trade and Effects hereinbefore given to my said Daughters  AND I DO further will order and direct my said Daughters when the last of them shall happen to marry or died unmarried to render and give up to my said Executors the possession of the said House farm and premises And also the said Furniture implements of Trade and Husbandry And also the said Stock in Trade in the same or as good an condition as when they received the same to be by them my said Executors disposed of in the manner hereinafter mentioned  AND I ALSO give and bequeath unto my Daughter Betty my Oak Writing desk in my House at Marple Bridge aforesaid  AND TO my Daughter Susannah I give and bequeath my silver Watch  AND I ALSO give and bequeath to my Daughter Emy my Bedstead and hangings Bed and Bedding Standing in the chamber over the Shop in my said House at Marple Bridge aforesaid And my will is that all and every sum and sums of Money which my said Daughters shall save and acquire in the said Trade or Business Over and besides their expenditure shall be and remain to them as their own separate and private property and to be enjoyed by them as such  AND AS TO MY   House Cottage and premises situate in Hattersley aforesaid which I hold by virtue of a Lease  for Three lives under the Earl of Stanford and Warrington I do order and direct my said Executors to collect and receive the rents and profits thereof and of all other my Leasehold Houses and premises not in the actual possession and occupation of my said daughters and to pay the said rents and profits over unto my said Daughter for the better enabling them to accomplish  and effect the end intents and purposes aforesaid   AND SINCE I have already so largely and so liberally contributed to the advancement and support of my sons I hope and trust that they will not attribute the foregoing dispositions to any undue or improper partiality to my said Daughters  AND I DO charge and enjoin my said Sons to withdraw themselves from my said Daughters and leave them in the quiet peaceable and undisturbed possession and enjoyment of the said House farm premises and Business  AND WHEREAS I am entitled to a share or shares in the Building Society or Club held at the House of Thomas TAYLOR known by the Sign of the Norfolk Arms in Marple Bridge aforesaid now I do will order and direct my said Executors when they shall have obtained said share or shares to pay and apply the amount thereof in and towards renewing the lives and the Lease of my said House  Cottage and premises situate in Hattersley aforesaid  AND AS SOON as all my said Daughters shall have married or those remaining unmarried shall have died then upon either of the said event whichever of them shall first happen I do will order and direct my said Executors by public Auction or by private contract absolutely to sell and dispose of all my Estate and Interest in the said House farm and premises at Marple Bridge aforesaid  AND ALSO ALL my Estate in my said Household goods furniture chattels Estate and Effects whatsoever for the most Money and best price that can or may be fairly had or gotten for the same  AND THE CLEAR fund arising from the said sale of the said premises Effects (after paying and discharging all the costs and expenses attending thereon) I will order and direct to be divided into seven equal parts or shares   ONE PART OR share whereof I give and bequeath unto my son Joseph GEE or his lawful representatives   ANOTHER PART OR share thereof I give and bequeath unto my son Henry GEE or his lawful representatives  ANOTHER PART OR share thereof I give and bequeath unto my son Thomas GEE or his lawful representatives  ANOTHER PART OR share thereof I give and bequeath unto my son Daniel GEE or his lawful representatives  ANOTHER PART OR  share thereof I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Betty GEE or her lawful representatives  ANOTHER PART OR share thereof I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Susannah GEE or her lawful representatives  AND THE OTHER part or share thereof I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Emy GEE or her lawful representatives  AND IF MY SON Henry who is one of the Executors appointed in and by the will of the said Richard MIDDLETON deceased and ought therefore to act as a parent and guardian to my said Grandchildren shall make any wilful waste or the property given to my said Grandchildren by the said will of the said Richard MIDDLETON then and in that case I will order and direct my said Executors on full proof and conviction thereof to deduct from the legacy hereinbefore given to my said Son Henry so much and such a sum of Money as will make up the deficiency occasioned by his wilful waste and to pay the same to my said Grandchildren in such shares and proportions as will make up their respective losses and deficiencies occasioned thereby  AND IT IS MY WILL will that if any of the said legatees shall be dissatisfied this my will and cause any disturbance to my Executors touching the Execution thereof that then and in such case I hereby will order and direct that each Legatee causing such disturbance be paid One shilling only and that every other devise or Legacy hereinbefore given to him her or them shall be lost and forfeited to the others and other of them anything hereinbefore contained to the contrary thereof in anywise notwithstanding  AND LASTLY I nominate constitute and appoint my said Daughters Betty GEE and Emy GEE and my friend Samuel Cooper BLORE of Mottram aforesaid Tinner and Brasier Executors of this my last will and Testament hereby revoking all former will and wills by me heretofore made and I declare this only to by my last will and testament In witness whereof I have to this my last will and testament contained on five sheets of paper set my hand and seal (To wit) my Hand to the Bottom of the four first sheets and my hand and seal to this last sheet of paper this nineteenth day of June in the year of Our Lord One thousand eight Hundred and twenty four     Isaac GEE

 ~CODICIL TO THE WILL OF ISAAC GEE – 24 February 1827~ 

Whereas I Isaac GEE late of Hattersley in the parish of Mottram in Longdendale in the County of Chester but now of  Marple Bridge in the County of Derby Shopkeeper do make and publish this as a Codicil to my last Will and Testament dated the nineteenth day of June one thousand eight hundred and twenty seven  AND WHEREAS IS IN and by my said Will I have given and bequeathed the sole and exclusive use possession and occupation of all that my Leasehold House farm and premises at Marple Bridge aforesaid unto my Daughters Betty, Susannah and Emy and the Household furniture (Save and Except the pieces of furniture thereinafter Specifically bequeathed) Implements of Trade and Husbandry goods and Effects thereon so long as they should remain single and unmarried they taking  especial care of the said House and premises Household Furniture Implements of Trade and Husbandry Goods and Effects and committing or Suffering no wilful waste or destruction therein I ALSO GAVE and bequeathed into my Daughters Betty Susannah and Emy All that my Trade or Business now carried on , on the said premises at Marple Bridge aforesaid and for the better enabling them Successfully to conduct and carry on the said premises  I GAVE AND  bequeathed unto them my said Daughters, All my stock and Book and other Debts now belonging to the said Trade or Business and all other profits and advantages appertaining thereto so long as they should remain single and unmarried as therein before mentioned they my said Daughters keeping up the said Stock and not suffering the same to diminish or decrease to the intent that they might [      ] and give up the said Stock in the same or as good a condition as that in which they received it to my said Executors at the time and in the manner thereafter mentioned and after ordering and directing my said daughters jointly to carry on the said Trade or Business to the intent that they maintain and support themselves on the said premises and provide an habitation for my Grandchildren the Sons and Daughters of Richard MIDDLETON late of Marple Bridge aforesaid deceased to whose care kindness and protection I commit and comment them my said Grandchildren in and to maintain and support my said Grandchildren until the younger of them my said Grandchildren should attain the age of fourteen years  I ORDERED AND  directed my said Executors immediately after my decease to make or cause to be made an Inventory or valuation of my said Household furniture Stock in trade and Effects therein before given to my said Daughters  AND I DID IN and by my said Will further order and direct my said Daughters when the last of them should happen to marry or die unmarried to render and give up to my said Executors the possession of the said House farm and premises and also the said Stock in Trade in the same or as good a condition as when they received the same to be by them my said Executors disposed of in the manner therein after mentioned and after several specific Bequests I ordered and directed my said Executors to collect and receive the Rents and profits of  my House Cottage and premises situate in Hattersley aforesaid which I held by virtue of a Lease for three Lives under the Earl of Stanford and Warrington and also to collect and receive the Rents and profits of All other my Leasehold Houses and premises not in the actual possession and occupation of my said Daughters for the better enabling them to accomplish and effect the ends intents and purpose therein mentioned  AND AFTER STATING my being entitled to a Share or Shares in the Building Society or Club held at the House of Thomas TAYLOR Known by the sign of the Norfolk Arms in Marple Bridge aforesaid I did will order and direct that my said Executors when they should have obtained the said share or shares to pay and apply the amount thereof in and towards renewing the Lives in the Lease of my said House Cottage and premises situate in Hattersley aforesaid and as soon as all my said Daughters should have Married or those remaining unmarried should have died then upon either of the said Events whichever of them should first happen  I DID WILL ORDER and direct my said Executors by Public auction or by Private Contact absolutely to sell and dispose of all my Estate and Interest in the said House Farm and premises at Marple Bridge aforesaid  AND ALSO ALL my Estate and interest in my said House Cottage and premises in Hattersley aforesaid  AND ALSO ALL my Household goods furniture Chattels Estate and Effects whatsoever for the most money that could or might be had or gotten for the Same And the clear fund arising from the said Sale of the said premises and Effects (after paying and discharging all the Costs and Expenses attending thereon)  I ORDERED AND directed to be divided into Seven equal parts or shares and to be divided in the manner therein more particularly mentioned that is of my said son Henry who is on the Executors appointed in and by the Will of the said Richard MIDDLETON deceased and ought therefore to not as a parent and Guardian to my said Grandchildren should make any wilful waste of the property given to my said Grandchildren by the said will of the said Richard MIDDLETON then and in such case I ordered and directed my said Executors on full proof and conviction thereof to deduct from the Legacy therein before given to my said Son Henry so much and such a sum of Money as will make up the deficiency in the said property so given to my said Grandchildren occasioned by his wilful waste and to pay the same to my said Grandchildren in such shares and proportions s will make up their respective losses and deficiencies occasioned thereby  AND IT WAS my will that if any of the Legatees of my said Will should be dissatisfied with my said will and cause any disturbance to my said Executors touching the Execution thereof that then and in such case I did thereby will and order that each legatee causing such disturbance be paid one shilling and that every other devise or legacy therein before given to him her or them should be lost and forfeited to the others and other of them  AND I DID THEREBY nominate constitute and appoint my said Daughters Betty GEE and Emy GEE and my friend Samuel Cooper BLORE of Mottram aforesaid Tinner and Brazier Executors of my said Will  MOW I DO HEREBY REVOKE  the appointment of my Daughters Betty GEE and Emy GEE and Samuel Cooper BLORE as Executors to my said Will and in lieu thereof I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said Daughters Betty GEE and Emy GEE and Richard MANN of Marple within the said County of Chester Schoolmaster Executors thereof  AND I DO HEREBY will and direct my said Executors to give unto my son Henry GEE pecuniary allowance to arise and be paid from and out of my said Stock and Trade of Five pounds  AND I DO HEREBY ratify and confirm my said Will in all Respects Except as the same is altered by this my Codicil thereto IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have to this Codicil to my last Will and Testament contained on three sheets of Paper set my Hand & seal (To wit) my Hand to the bottom of the two first sheets and my Hand and Seal to this last Sheet of paper this twenty fourth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty seven        Isaac GEE

Elizabeth wife of Isaac GEE of Ludworth departed 2nd July 1801 in her 43rd year.

3.    Ann GEE (3) (Isaac GEE-2, Joseph GEE-1) was born unknown.  Ann must have died before 1822 (see Richard’s will). Ann married Richard MIDDLETON on the 19th May 1911 at the All Saints Church in Glossop.

~WILL OF RICHARD MIDDLETON -25 March 1822~

Richard MIDDLETON of Ludworth: Proved at Lichfield: 25 March 1822

In the name of God Amen I Richard MIDDLETON of Ludworth in the parish of Glossop in the county of Derby Glazier being of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner following, that is to say, FIRST I ORDER and direct all my just debts, including my mortgage debt, and funeral and testamentary charges and expenses to be paid and discharged by my executors hereinafter named out of my estate and effects as soon as conveniently can be after my decease  I GIVE AND bequeath unto my daughter Jane my bed and bedding thereto whereon I usually sleep, by hair trunk, my corner cupboard, my looking glass in my bedroom, one bird box containing a wild pigeon and also my smallest bird box containing a king fisher  I GIVE AND bequeath unto my daughter Ann my card table, my oak chest, by bed standing in the little front room of the dwelling house where I now reside, and bedding thereto, my bird box containing a grouse, partridge and another bird box containing an owl  I GIVE AND bequeath unto my son Isaac my clock  I GIVE AND bequeath unto my son Richard my chest of drawers with the desk  AND I GIVE AND bequeath unto my son William my watch and also my other chest of drawers  I GIVE AND bequeath all the rest residue and remainder of my household goods and furniture, stock in trade, ready money, outstanding debts, chattels personal estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever unto my father in law Isaac GEE of Hattersley in the county of Chester publican my brother John MIDDLETON of Chinley (Breck End as named in the oath) in the said county of Derby Glazier, my brother in law Nathan FOX of Stockport in the said county of Chester publican and my brother in law Henry GEE of Ludworth aforesaid Shopkeeper their executors administrators and assigns upon trust that they or the survivors or survivors of them or the executors or administrators of such survivor do and shall with all convenient speed after my decease call in and compel payment of all such part of my personal state as shall consist of money and at interest and in outstanding debts or otherwise and do and shall sell and dispose of and convert into money such part or parts thereof as shall not consist AND I DO WILL and direct that it shall be lawful for my said executor and the survivors or survivor of them and the executors or administrators of such survivor to compromise or compound any sum of sums of money  owing to me at the time of my decease and to adjust settle and compromise all or any in accounts which at the time of my decease shall be depending between me and any other person or persons whomsoever  AND I DO further will and direct that my said executors and the survivors or survivors of them and the executors or administrators of such survivor shall stand and be possessed of the money to arise and be made from all my said personal estate and effects hereinbefore given and bequeathed to them as aforesaid  Upon trust in the first place to pay and discharge all my just debts including my mortgage debt and funeral and testamentary charges and expenses and in case there shall be any over-plus money  THEN UPON trust to first place and continue the same out at interest in their own names on good real or personal security or securities as they or the survivors or survivor of them or the executors or administrators of such survivor shall think proper until my youngest child shall attain the age of twenty one years and pay apply and dispose of the yearly interest to arise therefrom in the maintenance education and bringing up of all and every my children until they shall severally attain the age of twenty one years and from and after the attaining of my youngest child to the age of twenty one years  THEN UPON TRUST to call in the said moneys (if any) so to be placed out at interest and stand and be possessed thereof upon and for the trusts intents and purposes hereinafter expressed concerning the same  AND I DO hereby give devise and bequeath unto the said Isaac GEE, John MIDDLETON, Nathan FOX and Henry GEE their heirs executors administrators and assigns All and every my freehold and leasehold messuages or dwelling houses lands tenements rents hereditaments and premises whatsoever and wheresoever with their appurtenances To hold the same premises into the said Isaac GEE John MIDDLETON, Nathan FOX and Henry GEE their heirs executors administrators and assigns according to the respective nature and qualities thereof Upon trust that they or the survivors or survivor of the or the executors or administrators of such survivor do and shall devise lease set or let the same to any person or persons who shall be willing to become lessee or tenants thereof for any term or years not excluding the attainment of my younger child to the age of twenty one years as the best yearly rent that can be reasonably gotten for the same  AND DO AND shall pay [      ] and dispose of the rents and profits to arise therefrom in the maintenance education and bringing up of all and every my children until they shall severally attain the age of twenty one years and so soon as conveniently can be after my youngest child shall have attained the age of twenty one years  THEIR UPON trust that they my said trustees and the survivors or survivor of them or the executors or administrators of such survivor do and shall sell and absolutely dispose of all my said freehold and leasehold hereditaments and premises either together or in lots by public auction or private contract as they or he may think proper at and for the best price or prices and most money that can be reasonably had and obtained for the same and do and shall stand and be possessed of the money which shall arise from such sales upon and for the trusts intents and purposes hereinafter expressed concerning the same  AND I DO WILL and direct that they my said trustees and the survivors or survivor of them or the executors or administrators of such survivor do and shall stand and be possessed of and interested in the said monies (if any) so to be placed out at interest as aforesaid and also the money to arise for the sale of my said freehold and leasehold hereditaments and premises hereinbefore given and devised to them In trust to be sold as aforesaid and the rents issues interest and produce of the said money (if any) so to be placed out at interest as aforesaid and the said freehold and leasehold hereditaments and premises in the mean-time and until such sale or sales shall be completed upon trust to pay and divide the same unto and equally amongst all and every my children share and share alike provided always and it is my will and mind that in case any of my children shall happen to depart this life before his her or their part or share parts or shares shall become payable and shall leave lawful issue him her or them surviving then I give and bequeath the part or share parts or shares of such of them so dying unto and equally amongst such his/her or their respective issue share and share alike if more than one and if but one then to such one and to his her or their own use   AND IN CASE OF  the death of any of my said children before his her or their part or share parts or share shall become payable and shall leave no lawful issue him her or their surviving or leaving such and all of the shall depart this life under the age of twenty one years and without leaving lawful issue  THEN I GIVE and bequeath as well the original part or share parts or shares of such of them so dying as the part or share parts or shares which shall have survived to them respectively by virtue of this present proviso unto and equally amongst all and every my then surviving children and the issue of such of them as may be dead leaving issue such issue taking only amongst them the part or share parts or shares thereof to which their parent or respective parents would have been entitled if living provided also and it is my further will and mind that it shall and may be lawful to and for my said trustee and the survivors or survivor of them or the executors or administrators of such survivor to pay lay out and expend in the apprenticing or other preferment in life of any of my said children any part or parts of the said share or shares of the said child or children not exceeding the sum of ten pounds which sum or sums shall be allowed in their accounts with such child or children or the persons otherwise interested therein provided further  AND IT IS ALSO my will and mind that in case the interest of the said money (if any) so to be placed out at interest as aforesaid and also the rents and profits of my said freehold and leasehold hereditaments and premises shall by insufficient for the maintenance education and bringing up of my said children until they shall severally attain the age of twenty one years OR in case my said trustees or the survivors or survivor of them or the executors or administrators of such survivor shall find it necessary to call in the said money (if any) to be placed out at interest and to make sale and dispose of my said freehold and leasehold hereditaments and premises for the purpose of raising the money so to be by them paid laid out or expensed  in the apprenticing or other preferment of my said children  THEN AND IN SUCH case I do will and direct that my said trustees and the survivors or survivor of them or the executors or administrators of such survivor do and shall at such time or several times as they or he shall think necessary and proper call in and compel payment of all or any part of the said money (if any) so to be place out at interest as aforesaid and also to make sale and disposed of all or any part of all or a sufficient part or parts of the money to arise therefrom in the maintenance education and bringing up of all and every my children until they shall severally attain the age of twenty one years or in the apprenticing or other preferment of my said children as aforesaid  AND I DO declare that the receipt or receipts of my trustees or trustee for the time being acting in the execution of the trust hereby created shall be a good and sufficient discharge and good and sufficient discharges to the purchaser or purchasers of all or any part of my said freehold and leasehold hereditaments and premises for so much of his her or their purchase monies as shall be therein expressed to have been received and that such purchaser or purchasers shall not afterwards be answerable or accountable for any loss misapplication or non-application of such purchase monies so to be received or any part thereof  AND I DO hereby nominate constitute and appoint the said Isaac GEE, John MIDDLETON, Nathan FOX and Henry GEE executors of this my will  AND I DO also appoint them guardians of my children during their respective minorities  AND I DO will and direct that it shall and may be lawful to and for my said trustees or any of them or their or any of their heirs executors or administrators to deduct or retain to themselves and himself all such loss costs charge damages and expenses as they or any of them shall or may sustain bear expend or be put unto or reasonably deserve for their or any of their care time and trouble in an about the execution of this my will and that none of them shall be answerable or accountable for any more of the aforesaid trusts monies and premises than they shall respectively receive or shall come to their respective hands by virtue of this my will nor with or for any loss which shall happen to the said trust estate and premises except the same shall be occasioned by or through their respective wilful neglect or default nor shall the one of them be answerable or accountable for the others or other of them or for the heirs executors administrators acts deeds or defaults or the others or other of them but each of them for himself his heirs executors administrators acts deeds and defaults only   AND LASTLY I do hereby revoke all former and other will and wills by me at any time heretofore made and do declare this to be my last will and testament IN WITNESS WHEREOF I the said Richard MIDDLETON the testator have hereunto set my hand and seal this thirteenth day of December in the year of our
